Crocodile thinks that Hen would make a very tasty meal. Hen looks at Crocodile unafraid and simply says, “My brother, don’t eat me.” This causes Crocodile to be very perplexed and close his jaws without eating Hen. Crocodile simply cannot eat Hen if they are related. The more Crocodile thinks about this the more confused he gets, how can a crocodile and a hen be related? Crocodile decides see the Wise Old Woman as she will know how the two are related. On the way he runs into Lizard who admits although the two are different. Crocodile lives in water and Hen lives on land, Crocodile has scales and Hen is covered in feathers, etc. The two are still the same since Hens lay eggs and Crocodiles lay eggs, since this is a similarity between the two they must be brother and sister.
